"Although our hotel is right on the ocean, I think lying in the hammock and looking up at the trees is my favorite view. I love the lines of the fronds, watching the wind blow the branches, listening to the constant movement of the ocean, the sounds of kids playing on the beach, the clacking of dominoes on the bar and the laughing and exchanging of stories over drinks. The hammock sways slightly, in tempo with the lazy movement of the trees. We spend so much energy at home trying to maximize our time... multi-tasking our multi-tasking... it is a wonderful break to lay back and just... be... even if only for a little while."
