I was amused to find a large brown pelican napping on what looked to be the thinnest of branches on a spindly tree at the end of a rocky mini-island just off the beach, north of Negril, Jamaica. The seas were too rough for swimming, and the wind was steady, but the big pelican never wavered during his nap time.
