Located at the bottom of a steep cliff on the northern shore of Kauai, the entrance to the Manini-holo dry cave is deceiving. From the street it appears to be just an indentation at the bottom of the cliff, then you walk in to find an immensely deep, dark, cool cave with an undulating sandy floor. We were fortunate to stop on a day where the cave was relatively empty, I enjoyed the break from the hot sun while I stood behind my tripod awaiting a tourist-free photo.
