Hill's Mockingbird 03

Hill's Mockingbird 03

I found the behavior of these birds intriguing. They would land and then fan their wings out with sharp movements up and down, like someone directing traffic.
The identity of this has been difficult for me, as all my books and online information states that the Bahama Mockingbird (Or Hill's Mockingbird) is located on the southern coast of Jamaica, however over the years I've photographed them numerous times on the beach of Negril, Jamaica... which is located on the western-most tip of the island. Hill's Mockingbird is a subspecies of the Bahama Mockingbird, and is endemic to Jamaica. The yellow bit of fluff on the chest of this bird is also throwing a monkey wrench into the ID game, but having searched every page of my ID books and many ornithology sites, I can't find any match other than mockingbird.
